I’m writing to say thank you so much for an excellent, and extremely well organized, workshop last weekend in Hamburg.

Your opening presentation about your own work was both inspirational and extremely helpful in conceptualizing the rationale for much of your approach. The photowalks we went on were great. It was good to experience your way of seeing first hand and your cheerful encouragement. I also appreciate the fact you were so encouraging about thinking of themes to explore, and working with different ways of taking pictures, whether it was unusual angles, or unusual techniques, it all really helped.  Not least, it was a great way to experience Hamburg for the first time – I had never  been there before, and you made a great guide to interesting locations.

The final review on the last day was something of a revelation. I have rarely been so productive in such a short time.

Mindblowing, extremly helpful and motivating workshop: this is one of the best and most unusual workshops, I’ve ever participated. Siegfried just shows you how totally different photography can be and how totally different you as a photographer can be. You start seeing things, you’ve never thought of to include in your pictures. I sincerely recommend to beginners, photography lovers and especially professional photographers: go and let your mind be blown by this workshop, see invisible things and learn how not to get bored of the same style pictures, you used to take.
P.S. Siegfried Hansen is a great tour guide as well. You’ll see the city he’s taking you through, in totally different way, than other s do :

I am very glad to have this golden opportunity to receive coaching directly from Siegfried. Not only did I learnt from him the various composition techniques, he also taught me many valuable photographer observation skills, attitude and discipline.

Siegfried and Jesse, thank you both for the great, inspirational workshop and weekend. It was my first workshop and it was very interesting to see how you work, how you approach the street and how you went your ways so far.
The organization of the workshop was absolutely perfect, the places in Berlin we went to had a lot to offer for everybody and were well chosen. We also got insights how to edit our work. Like this, the results at the end of the weekend, were stunning and the final presentations great fun so see. Siegfried and Jesse, both very nice and helpful guys, a great group and also some time for drinking a beer and talking about Street Photography, made the workshop a fantastic experience and I can highly recommend it to everybody, who wants to make a step further. Hello Siegfried and Jesse–First of all: thank you so much for a great photographic experience/weekend in Berlin! It was a fantastic workshop and you have been great mentors! The workshop was really well prepared and brought us to the best spots in Berlin. Both, Siegfried and Jesse took their time to explain how they work in the streets and provided everybody of us with a truly new vision. Sharing all their knowledge before and while shooting brought everybody to a new level and, like you already said, the results of everybody were extremely high! Well done!!
Apart from that, we had a great time when not taking photos, eating Italian food and having some beer 😉 I can definitely recommend a workshop with Siegfried and/or Jesse!

Dear Siegfried and Jesse, thank you for the lovely weekend I had in Berlin. It was my first ever photo workshop and I am absolutely delighted! The workshop with Siegfried was truly inspirational and mind blowing. To me it opened a new world to see things and especially details even in overcrowded situations. On top of that it was eye opening to learn from Siegfrieds systematic „pilot“ approach for street photography and thus to learn that outstanding pictures rarely happen accidentally.
